Ultimate Debian Database (UDD) gathers a lot of data about various aspects of Debian in a single SQL database. It allows users to easily access and combine all this data.

The database has schema diagrams available, and more information about UDD are collected on the Debian Wiki at wiki.debian.org/UltimateDebianDatabase.

QUALOSS studies QUALity in Open Source Software

QUALOSS plans to mostly automate the quality measurement of open source software. The QUALOSS platform uses tools to analyse two types of data: source code and project-repository information. Thanks to the tooled-method of QUALOSS, it will be possible to assess the quality of open source projects quantitatively, objectively and rapidly.

The FLOSS group is intended for researchers studying open source software development. Sharing analysis workflows and components is an efficient way to advance the efforts of the FLOSS research community and is consistent with the values of the development communities we study.

FLOSSMetrics [1] stands for Free/Libre Open Source Software Metrics.

The main objective of FLOSSMetrics is to construct, publish and analyse a large scale database with information and metrics about libre software development coming from several thousands of software projects, using existing methodologies, and tools already developed. The project will also provide a public platform for validation and industrial exploitation of results.

Ohloh [1] is a social network for open source developers. In addition to the community-oriented social features, Ohloh provides an API and tools for comparing languages and project metrics [2].

LibreSoft is a part of the Grupo de Sistemas y Comunicaciones (System and Communication Group, GSyC) at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos located in Móstoles, near Madrid, Spain.

We're excited to give you all a heads up that the entire FLOSSmole database is now available directly via a MySQL server.

We have transferred the database to the NSF TeraGrid Data Central hosting site [1] (based at the San Diego Supercomputing centre). It's a bigger machine and professionally administered, which was much better than we could offer ourselves. See below for access procedure.

The FLOSSmole data repository contains:

• 300 GB of data covering the period 2004-now, and growing
• datasets from over 140 web spidering operations, and growing each month
• data on about 200,000 different open source projects and their developers
